CRANBERRY PLUS consists of 2 special herbs, Vaccinium Macrocarpon (Cranberry) and Uva Ursi; used traditionally to improve urination.

Urinary tract infections (UTIs) are common infections that affect millions of people annually. Most are caused by a common bacterium called E. coli, which lives in the intestine and requires antibiotic treatment. UTIs can occur anywhere in the urinary tract, including the kidneys, bladder, and urethra. Women are at higher risk than men because of their shorter urethra and the hormones in their bodies make them more susceptible to urinary infections. Symptoms include a frequent need to urinate and pain or a burning sensation during urination.

Cranberry prevents the fastening of certain bacteria (e.g. E. coli) to the epithelium wall of the urinary bladder. Meanwhile, Uva Ursi has urinary antiseptic properties against E. coli. It is an effective diuretic herb that encourages the natural flow of urine and the removal of harmful bacteria from the urinary tract. It helps to tone the walls of the urinary tract (astringent properties) and has anti-inflammatory action.
