Active UMF® 10+ Manuka Honey

ACTIVE UMF® 10+ MANUKA HONEY is an industrial registered trademark and standard indicating a special and superior antibacterial component that is found in some of New Zealand’s native Manuka honey.

What is it for?
• Assists and supports the body’s own immune system against a wide range of bacteria and fungi
• Contains the highest level of antioxidants among all the different kinds of honey
• Combines the antibacterial effect of hydrogen peroxide and UMF® which give special healing properties for wound healing
• Relieves stomach ulcers
• Is used as a first aid dressing material
Ideal for those with poor immune system and gastric problems; and for wounds (e.g. ulcers)

Dosage
• As an antioxidant: Take a teaspoon from time to time throughout the day
• For wound healing: Spread it on the dressing and apply to wound. Typically, 20ml (25-30g, 1oz) is used on a 10cm x 10 cm (4 in x 4 in) dressing
• For stomach ulcers: Spread about 1 tablespoon on bread or toast one hour before meals and again at bedtime
